This is my favorite site as well: It has so many "good guys," it is like sitting down with a cup of coffee with my pals. I have learned so much on here, and have gotten so much good help from guys like "Skeettx," learned about DR16 wads,
and picked up a couple wonderful 16's.
What makes this site so great is the people who contribute to it, and who do not resort to name calling and childish behaviors.
To the next Decade!

Congrats on a successful first 10 years Doug, and every member who chose to contribute to keep this site advert free. I'll be looking forward to the next 10. |

Thanks for starting a good thing. Thanks for sustaining the working parts and soft ware for us all. I think we should always be self supporting. I would rather have a yearly contribution than any type of commercial support like so many other sources of smooth bore interest, if it should ever come to that. |

I watch a few other similar sites and often shake my head at the senseless sparring among people who seem to share some common interest. I participate here without fear of getting skewered and have been most appreciative of the help offered. Keeping the politics and bickering off is a huge benefit here. Most of us to have very strong political beliefs, but that debate can be held elsewhere.
Congrats on 10 years Doug. Your passion for 16 has been spread to hundreds and maybe thousands I think, which I assume was your intent 10 years ago. I come here daily to see what's up on 16ga.
We had over 30 shooters at the very informal 16ga shoot we had last month in Minnesota. Having some more of these regionally may bring some of these guns out and get people together and using them more. Having some more 16ga gear available would be nice too.
Keep it going! |

I feel this forum is like the Bar in the TV show "Cheers". May not know everyones name, but it has that kind of feeling.
Thanks Doug |

Doug, this is the best forum around - THANKS. The membership maintains a great
atitude and is civil to all that come here, even those that arrive to cause trouble. Somehow they get weeded out.

I've only been here a little over a year, but I've greatly enjoyed it and learned much. My thanks go out to Doug and all the other fine fellows here who make this place what it is! |

Thank you for what you do, and have done here. Every time I enter this site I smell a freshly fired paper hull!

When I look back over the years, a lot of the information I've gained, people I've chatted with off on and off line, and a lot of the shooting enjoyment I've had is a direct result of this site. Thank you Doug. Many kudos. Well done. |
