I just noticed Cabelas.com is running a promotion for one cent shipping on certain Cabela's branded products - and the Herter's Dove and Quail loads are included.
$69.99 for a flat of either #6 or #8, and one cent shipping. Hard to beat. Use the promotion code "84PENNY" |

Wow, 300 views and no one thought that was a deal? Well, now they're on sale! That's right, 16 ga Herter's are now $64.99, and still one penny shipping.
I just ordered some more. |

Hmmm….never can have too many 16 ga. shells. Thanks for the heads up!
(good way to keep the hull supply in good shape, too!) |

Refresh my memory, are these Cheddite huls in the Herter's 16 shells? |

Easy math here, I love RSTs but they're $13/box.These are great shells at a very good price. All my 16s (except one, a short-chambered M12) tolerate the load and speed, and they cycle nicely in my repeaters. |

I was at the KC Cabela's today and they had piles of Herter's for sale. 12's,16's, 20's. The 16's were 1 oz in 6's or 8's at $69.99 a flat. I had a !0% discount card that knocked the price down to about $62 a flat. I got one in 8's. they are out there, if you need some. |

It costs me $12 in gasoline to drive to the "local" Cabelas - so paying a penny to have it come to my door is a no-brainer. Mine are supposed to be delivered tomorrow! |

I bought 10 boxes of the Herters 16 ga #8, couple months ago. Shot some sporting clays and they worked excellent.
However, I am seeing a lot of splits in the crimps after 2-3 loadings. |
