Embarassed O.K., so I went a little bit overboard. Started reloading about a week and a half ago, getting ready for dove season. My nephew is going along (his first shoot ever) so I thought I'd load a little extra to account for his expected inability to hit the little zig-zaggin' sonofaguns. Finally took the time to count the amount of shells I'd loaded, in four gauges, and found I'd cranked out almost 2000 rounds -- for a five-day hunt.

Uh, that's 200 rounds for each of us per day. Even as bad as I shoot, and I expect he'll shoot, I think that'll be enough for us to bag our ten bird limits. Is it just me, or do some of you also find reloading to be therapy?

Brother-I am most certainly NOT suggesting a specific diagnosis but you might check for the nearest obsessive-compulsive reloader's disorder support group Laughing
"Hi, I'm Haiwee and I reloaded 583 16g shells last night"
"Welcome Haiwee" Laughing

Haiwee:

I've been known to reload a couple of thousand shells in one gauge or another over a 4-5 day period and then shoot them up in about 3 weekends. Lots of stress (students, administrators, colleagues) and wanting to support the firearm industry Wink

Best part - shells kept in proper storage will last a lifetime. Here's hoping you have the opportunity to expend them all Cool

my motto - burn powder and hurl Pb every chance you get!
