| I am going to be in Rochester MN in the end of August. Is their any gun/reloading shops that should not be missed in that area. My wife wants to go to the Mall of America and I think I would rather not (understatement). |

The Mall of America is actually in Bloomington, MN which is 90 or so miles N of Rochester. But if you/your wife are going to be in Bloomington, there's The Frontiersman in Wayzata which is probably the best source for guns , and some reloading components in the Metro area. You can get a 25# bag of 9 shot there for 32.99.

I'm about an hour east of Rochester (wife is from that area) and I've never found much over there in terms of interesting gun shops. If you hear of something let me know!  |

The Frontiersman is actually in Golden Valley on Wayzata Blvd, the frontage road on the south side of Interstate 394. If you get up this way take 494 west from the MOA to Highway 100. Go north on 100 to Interstate 394. Go west on 394 to Louisiana Avenue. Turn left at the head of the ramp (stoplight) and take Louisiana south to just over the freeway, turn left on the frontage road and you'll find the F about 1/3 mile east of Louisiana on the right.
Coming north out of Rochester you can find the Cabela's in Owatonna. It's a bit west on MN (? or County Road) 14 going north out of Rochester. Watch for the Owatonna signs on 52 and 14. Any one that can add to this route, please chime in.
If you have time and want to see the Cabela's and Gander Mountain gun libraries in Rogers, MN (just north of Mpls) grab a map and head up there. Both stores are on the north frontage road of Interstate 94 at Rogers. |

| If you go to over Cabela's in Owatonna you might as well go a bit further north and west to Ahlman's in Morristown. It's a pretty interesting shop. |
