This is quite inspiring. That fox is gorgeous and it is what I am considering doing with the JP Sauer 16 I just bought...WOW

Bringing this old thread back to life because I'm getting ready to pick up my custom 16 fox project.

My project gun is essentially done. I've been sitting on a few pictures for awhile. I'll be picking it up soon.

I'll share more pictures once I have it and have a chance to take good ones.

This is the 28 inch barrel set with a very slim semi-beavertail fore end with warthog ivory insert.

Dan Rossiter did a fantastic job and Gournet is, well, Gournet. My total input to him was that I wanted it to look like the engraver who did the Saint George gun went to work for Fox, that I wanted woodcock and grouse on the sides and my initials on the trigger guard, and that I did not want the engraving to get lost in the case colors at the end of the day.

It was worth the wait. I'm pretty tickled. I can't wait to pick it up from Dan.
