Federal sells a steel waterfowl load in the brand of Speed Shok. Does anyone know what powder they use, and the type of wad?

The wad is proprietary. Who knows what powder they use, I'd guess it's probably something close to Steel, Blue Dot, SR4756, etc.
Cut one open, you'll see the wad isn't like anything you can buy, neither is their lead load wads.
Powders that the ammo companies use isn't necessarily anything like the canister powders that reloaders buy over the counter. |
