howdy guys - justa heads up . Was dumpster diving over at the club the other day - 200 new once fired 28's - sweet ! Took em home to unprime and dry out - they are 3/32 short and have rio or some other euro primer . No porblem , but as you accumulate new empties , check them for being different . These also have chedd type basewads - not a fan as they don't soften the blow like the wound papers . JMO

Finding 200 once fired 28 ga hulls of any kind is like hitting the lottery. I suggest you set up a trail camera to snap a photo of the guy who is dumping them. After that, a well timed intercept will help you avoid pawing thru the garbage to get to the gold. Very Happy

GG - I know the guy well . The cases are short and for whatever reason have some big primers . I think he thinks they'll be a PITA for me . I keep some Fio primers around just for these emergencies though !

Buy him a cup of coffee (and maybe a donut to go with it) and cultivate a friendship. Then stick to him like glue. That's exactly how I've managed to amass a good sized supply of 16 ga RGL hulls for the price of an occasional cup of coffee, a donut on the side, and some friendly conversation. Works for me. Might for you. Very Happy
