International Clays is almost identical to Green Dot in burning speed. It is a bit less dense, so it throws lighter by volume. The same volumetric measure will result in about the same pressures and velocities for either powder per charge, and will occupy the about same space in the hull.

This means you will find International Clays is a very good powder selection for both 3/4 and 7/8 ounce 16 gauge loads in RGL hulls with DR16 wads if you use the same measure which throws 16 grains of GD. You can also use it for some 1 ounce loads in roomier hulls like Cheddites and other closely similar Cheddite type hulls.

Thank you for the information. I had the opertunidy to buy this international and hated to pass on it. Due to the current powder issue. I may try to trade it for longshot or bluedot since I am more familiar with them and have had good luck with these powders.
