I've done a search and still scratching my head. Are the new Estate hulls Federals or Cheddites? They look very similar to the Cheddites but without the stars. If Federals can I just use Federal data?

I haven't gotten any 16's , but the 28's are going Estate / chedd . They definately got the plastic basewad , stars on the rim and are 1/16" shorter . The estates started out that way and were horrible . Then they went to fed cases and were fine . I HOPE they are improved from the old ones . I will probably look at data from both type cases and see if one is similar . It will probably be like assim loads like the 28ga AAHS . 16's , if they show up plastic basewads , I'd just go with chedd data . I know our new RUNNINGS store has diff 2O ga Estates in 2 diff boxes , so it looks like the change is happening ! |

also , Matt , the boys here had reported this sort of change of casing this summer . I have'nt gotten any new 16's in a while , so haven't seen them yet . I would always want the paper bases contrary to some , but like rgls' I feel like a little cushion is there . |
