| < 16ga. Ammunition & Reloading ~ Federal game load hulls? |

| How are federal game load hills to load? I bought a few boxes of 8's recently. What wad for these hulls. They appear to be the same as a bunch of Estate hulls I have from a few years ago. Thanks. |

| I load my 1oz clays load w/this hull.209A,AA Claybuster and 28 gr of Blue Dot.They load great and are good for 5-6 loadings. |

They load well. What amount of shot do want to stuff into them? For 3/4 or 7/8 oz loads I really like the DR16 wad. For 7/8 to 1 1/8 oz the SG16 Gualandi wad works well. Other gurus will give you more options. These hulls have a paper base wad and you should look in the hulls before you load them to make sure the base is in place. I also look down my barrels after I shoot to make sure they're clear, but I try to do that all the time anyway.

| Ditto the above comments. I like Fed hulls. Don't let them get too damp as that can mess with the base-wad. |

| I'm looking to load 7/8 oz. I have unique and universal clays if the will work. Also have red dot. Probably could get a few other powder choices. I knew they had a fiber base so I will keep an eye on them. Are the remington game load hulls better? Also are the estate bull the same as the federals? |
