Who else has the grand slam of 16 gauge actions? (we'll leave out bolt actions and single shots for now)
I'm completing the slam as we speak. It wasn't my goal to achieve this, more out of a season of subpar shooting and a little novelty. My final piece is Lloyd's 1959 Wingmaster 16. Like I mentioned, I've just been off this year and for the most part it's been some flaws that have crept not my technique, and I suspect I have some middle-age vision issues thrown in.
Anyway, I cut my teeth on pumps and always shot 870 Wingmasters particularly well, so how can I not buy one in 16 gauge made the year I was born? Pretty pathetic, I know...
Just when I think I'm done buying shotguns...
Any other slammers out there? |

I need an o/u to complete the grand slam. 4 sxs, 2 pumps, one autoloader. I have not found an o/u that appealed to me yet. |

Very cool, Dave! You are really going to enjoy that pump and I know you'll shoot it great! Now, if you were to give me one of your SxS's id be able to complete the slam too! |

Tsk Tsk Tsk...should have kept that sweet little Western Arms you had!
Let's see, if I remember right I watched you not miss a clay on your first 25 shots with it...
Wait a minute....I seem to remember you shooting 4 ruffed grouse with it over my old grouse dog Zeke another day... |

Numerous SxS, one each of an O/U and a pump but no auto. And not likely to be one.
Had a Browning Double-Auto in 12 gauge given to me once, by my uncle. Some sentimental value for me but not enough....ended up selling to a friend who really wanted it. I know if I bought one it would never leave the safe. |

Let's see still have 4 semi autos, 2 O/Us, 1 slide action, and 2 SxSs. The rest of my 16 ga. collection has been given to son, daughter and 1 grandson. At my age what I have left is more than needed and properly distribute some more to family members next year, but will keep at least one of each for myself. |

Memory is getting bad forgot that I also have 2 A5s, one from 1932 and a Sweet 16 from 62. Think I'll get my collection of Rem. 11-48 & 48s distributed next year. |

Like canvas I have no desire to own a semi in addition to a bolt action or single.
I do have my eyes on a rem 31 (poly-c), 870 (rem-c), and moss 500 (invector-c).
I guess I'm a pump action guy that likes my choke options! |

I have recently completed my "Grand Slam" with the acquisition of a Rem. Model 48 semi-auto. My "Super Slam" includes a Win. Model 37 single shot, Mossburg 190 bolt action, Stevens 215 sxs hammer gun, a Husky Model 20 sxs under lever hammer gun and a 16 ga. /9.3x72R German Drilling. |

Barkey, you are standing at the pinnacle!
The only one who has a chance of knocking you off is skeetx.

1-Rem 16 ga Model 11
1-Rem 16 ga 11-48
Various 16 SXS
1-Win 16 ga Model 12-Pump
1-Win 16 ga Model 37 single
0-O/U
However,
Not sure if a true Grand Slam of actions can be claimed unless the bolt action 16 is left off the list. |
