Let's say tomarrow you had a chance to buy a 6 or 7 pounds from a guy getting out of reloading what would you get on this list (all are unopen):
Green Dot - they have 2 pounders
Herco - they have 2 pounders (already have 1)
800x - they have 2 pounders (already have 3)
Universal Clays - they have 2 pounders
PB - they have 4 pounders
HS-7 they have 1 pound
WST - they have 1 pound
I was thinking for 7/8 loads I'd want all the PB for the future.
Wanted some longshot but he doesn't hoard it. |

Buy ALL of it and if perhaps you can not find a load you
like in some of them, trade them off for others you can use
The Barter System is VERY healthy these days
Mike
When you say 2 pounders, you mean that he has two one pound containers?? |

Yes they are all 1 pound containers. Guy knew a friend of mine and happened to mention he was selling all his guns and reloading stuff. Friend gave him my number. I just wish there was a local gun club that I could find to do some trading.
He didn't have any 16ga guns or modern reloading equipment. I got 1 day to buy from him before he takes all his loading stuff to a store to sell. |

If the price is right buy everything he has,
You will be able to sell off what you do not want
and maybe get what you want for FREE

Well, I tried my best to clean him out. His pricing was up to date. His list was not accurate as he updated me on which ones had been open and used.
I took all his unused which consisted of HS-6, WST, Green Dot, PB, Herco, 800x, SR7625, and Universal. Multiple pounds of Herco, PB, SR7625, and 800x. The 7625 and PB must have been older because they were in 8 oz metal cans.
Even managed to buy 3 boxes of 32-20 ammo off him (winchester, remington, and ultramax) and 50 pounds of remington mag lead #7.5.
So much for that Remington 31 16ga with poly choke I was planning to get for Christmas! Anyone got ideas on a free gift for the wife for Christmas? |
