In the October _Handloader_ there's an interesting article about B&P ammo by Walt Labisky. It covers only 12 ga flavors but has good insight into the vagaries of the Gordon system (name resulted from the employee's love of Flash Gordon comics) as well as reloading charateristics.
Definitely worth a look.

Handloader is my favorite magazine---a carryover from my high power rifle shooting days. What a shame we don't have the equal in a shotgun magazine |

Sadly, Handloader is a pale shadow of its former self. The company was acquired and it has gone the way of "Hooting Slimes" and "Buns & Wammo".
After 20 years, I'm letting my subscription expire and won't be renewing.
