Attached from recent Downton Abbey Tea. The fat man with the hair under his nose is a guy who’s cat died 3 years ago. They had the rotten beast for a long time and both he and his wife missed it. So, he took a piece of the dead cat’s hide to a taxidermist and had a moustache made. He pastes it on with the glue hair piece wearers use. One problem is he has to do put the lip hair on when he gets outside in his car. Whenever he takes it out of it’s storage box while in the house their two Golden Retrievers go ape-shit and have torn several sleeves off jackets trying to get at his nose. No dogs were allowed into the Tea because of this problem.

I was under the impression the local senior center was having their annual prom photos. |

While special attire is not required at the 16ga shoot in May, you would be most welcome as you are dressed. Come to St. Paul may 16th.
Very impressive. A gold, or fashionably purple watch fob would be fitting.
Cheers |

In response to a PM regarding how come the cat died 3 years ago and when did he bring the piece of hide to the taxidermist.
This from the wearer who refers to the under-the-nose piece as a Pusstache.
They kept the dead cat frozen in the basement freezer with the venison, rabbits, woodchucks and large birds he finds along the road during travels. Those critters are used for dog food protein enhancement due to the low cost dog food he provides.
About 3 months after the cat quit breathing, when the decision was made to enshrine the cat under his nose on special events, he went to the freezer and got the corpse. After he and his wife rolled the frozen carcass around on the dining room table trying to determine the most loving part of the cat, they selected a section of rib cage-belly hair, which they had spent a lot of time stroking during the cat's long life.
The hair of the Pusstache is soft and requires substantial waxing to retain under the nose shape and the twirl at the ends - as you see in the photo.
As to the current whereabouts of the cat corpse, neither he nor his wife would say. But I know they buy a lot of votive candles at Wal-Mart. |
