I have a Sizemaster. What are my options for converting it to 2.5"?
Thanks,
Jeff

The coin trick is slick. I couldn't quite envision it. Thanks. Of course, when the black helicopters land in my yard for defacing money I will refuse to give any of you guys up!

So I suppose those Marines that sat on the sidewalk, grinding down the edges of a penny so that they would pass as a dime in the Coke machine were breaking the law. Gasp, what are we to do Question Question Question Rolling Eyes

My loader is loose enough now to accept quarters ! ... In spite of Mike (skeetx) slur toward us cheap guys , washers have holes in them to allow no pressure on a primer . The only thing I do if using change is make sure the flat side is UP ! You don't want the raised face pushing on a hard to crimp shell .

There's been a change in the law. It is now OK to drop a penny into a machine in an arcade and get back a flattened coin for alternate use. Those machines are around the country, but the thrill of flattening a penny is not akin to enjoying a wee dram of SMS.

Repeat customers of that activity, which by the way costs a quarter to accomplish, are few, I am guessing. Being dumb and spending your money being dumb. is dumb.

This might be a little off the subject, but the use/abuse of coins brought up the memory of an incident in my past. I was a project manager for a firm that sold custom structural test equipment to, among other markets, the vehicle development labs of automotive and aerospace manufacturers. Almost all my projects were overseas, and in 1988 or 89, I found myself in Cologne Germany at a review of a new project for Ford. Ford Germany was required to work somewhat closely with the development labs in Ford U.K. You can imagine, of course, that this cultural mix produced some contentiousness at times. Anyway, unknown to the Germans, our friends from Ford U.K. invited themselves to this meeting. It was a surprise to me also, but I knew the U.K. fellows from previous work. During a break, they showed me how to get a Coke from a German vending machine. The British 2-pence coin was a very close match in size and weight for the German 2 Deutschmark coin. At the time, the 2DM coin was worth a little over one US$, and the 2P British coin about 3 of our cents! Using the 2P coin I could get a Coke, plus enough change in Marks and Pfennigs to buy a couple more! Needless to say, after my English friends showed me this, they instructed me to not do it again, as perhaps by nature, the Germans would be keeping very good records of who was visiting the plant, when and where, and if the occurrences were numerous enough to warrant investigating, the finger would certainly be pointed at themselves. I still get a chuckle out of this little cross cultural experience, and the glee with which the English guys showed me this trick. I guess it was the only thing they had up on the Germans at that time, considering the German economic miracle and all.

Single malt Highland is indeed smoooooooooooooooth. On the other hand, the island stuff is smooth as 80 grit emery cloth and about as tasty.
