In my 16 ga hull purchase this fall I have found about 100 rounds of Winchester Western Dove and Quail hulls. They say W-W 16 GA on the bottom of the brass and appear to have a very thick paper base wad. What are these? How do I reload them? Does anyone want them? The last thing I need is to add another kind of hull into the mix. I'm still trying to simplify my reloading life.
Thanks,
Jeff

Throw them in the trash , they are not good for reloading . The base wad came loose after the first shot in the factory loaded ones I had.

Jeff - what FN said . there are only a couple cases that I wouldn't load and that is one of them . The other i believe was Rem/Peters all americans -1st shell i believe rem went for a plastic insert . During their fairly short life , the gun shop affiliated with major trap here had about 8/9 barrels that had the basewads stuck and blew . quite a collection back then ! They were the ones that used a red AA sized wad for a reg load .
