Mike- You might as well buy this one, then you won't have to wait another 7 years to see it again! Do you recall what the reserve was 7 years ago?

Now, if that box had contained 100 new primed Winchester AACF 16 gauge hulls then $17k seems like a fair price.

Mike- Do you recall what the box of m t primed hulls was? The ones I have seen for sale always seem to me to be "inexpensive" as compared to a lot of the full 2 piece boxes.

I had to look and was kind of shocked to see it was only an ounce in a 3 inch shell. Does that seem right? I kind of expected to see in the range of 1 1/4 to 1 3/8 ounces.

No mistake, they thought that more felt wadding would lead to better patterning.

I had a fellow worker give me a box marked 100 Western Expert Paper Shot Shells last week. Unfortunately when I opened the box someone had replaced the paper shells with Primed Federal Monark Plastic shells.

I'd like to find some of the Federal 2 3/4" 1 1/4 oz loads in #4 shot. Use to love to use them on ducks but would be real good on squirrels now.

I would feel a bit embarrassed to tell people I was using magnum shells chasing tree rats.

I have two places to hunt that have virgin timber with hickory trees that are over 3 foot in diameter. So you can imagine their heigth. The magnum loads would also be good for turkey and crows. 1 1/4 oz isn't that much more than 1 1/8 oz. that's why I don't load them any more. It's just that I haven't seen them for sale in a long time.
