was thinking about it ... but , am sitting on a backorder from Gamaliel's . Will wait and see how long it is till they get them to define MY market ... Kevin sez there is always a high demand and then slows down considerably - wonder why that is !!??

Well what you said is confusing to me, but have at it!

I think most order a case at a time and it takes a few weeks
to shoot up 5000 wads. Smile

I kinda think that guys who order a case of 16 gauge wads are in the minority.

Most guys do not shoot any where near 5000 rounds of 16 Gauge a year.

I ran a poll a few years back.......most guys are under 1,000 rounds a year.

That is most likely true, DC, but with most 16 ga. things, you need to get them while the getting's good. If Downrange ever pulls the plug on these it will be nice to have a good stash tucked away.

My last order was 3k . Was down to <300 when I started looking in the fall . Was able to only get 1k from Hanson (I believe), back to 300 now . Up to that pt , never had run into this sorta stuff - no wads . I'm not sure DR is going to send only to Recob 1st . May be that they won't send any till some is sent to all distributors . We'll see . That is part of what I want to know , and if I have to , I'll probably order 10k . Don't want to !

DownRange doesn't own the dies.

........there was life before all the wads we have now, there will be life when all of these are gone.......there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Thanks for the efforts Nick, the wad works fantastic in RGL hulls for sub 1oz loads.

16D, just like I/we appreciate anything that broadens the options for the 16ga loadings, I'll take anything I can get regarding 10ga components. As far as I can see and without going old-school on stacked loads, there are only couple 10ga lead "target" wads commonly/easily available and those need a handfull of filler to play in the 1-1.25oz target load range. Thank goodness for old crusty 10ga hunting hulls, hull trimmers and roll crimpers.

Anybody needing some DR16s now, I'll trade straight across for Remington SP16/R16 or Gualandi/SG-16.

Roadkill and BigCreekMI, PM's responded to. Still have 1000 DR16's, for any others interested with SG-16's/2116's to trade.

Anyone get their pre-ordered DR16's from Recob's yet? I noticed they have them in stock in case quantities on Recob's web site.

Oops!

Never mind, I see the "buy" button isn't there, so no wads at Recobs yet.
