Could be anytime now. 'Spring" was the last word I read on it. |

Rich, I'm sitting on about 2 1/2 bags right now, so I'm good. If you come to JNW's Sweet 16 shoot in St. Paul in May (16th I believe) bring them along. Either myself or another 16 ga. nut will buy them. That shoot was a good time last year! |

Spoke to Kevin today.
Mold broke a couple of heel blocks had to repair.
Test wads are being run through ballistics.
Soon as data comes back ok mold will run parts.
Recob will be the first to get wads.
Regards. Nick
32 cases spoke for up front.
2 of them are mine!!!!! |

No, not produced yet.
Kevin has great interest in getting this done
but there have been a number of issues
that I am currently not at liberty to discuss.
Be it known that Kevin is trying as best and as fast
as he can to make these wads

So, how come Recobs get the first batch? If I was another dealer I would not be pleased, but maybe it's not a significant amount of product for anyone to care about.
How many cases will be produced? If it's 35 and 32 are already spoken for them I'm in trouble.
Wondering,
Jeff |

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff
Recobs has been a strong supporter of the 16 gauge DR wads from the beginning. Someone has to be our champion.
Jeff, have you placed your pre-order with Recobs yet?
Don't wonder, ask and be happy
Good shooting

Mike,
I buy all my DR products that I can from a local dealer that I like to support. His prices are way better than Recobs, I don't have to pay shipping, and did I mention I'm supporting a local small business? In the past several years the annual run of DR16s has lasted 6-8 months, but with the new hoarding mentality we have all had to develop if we wish to continue to reload and shoot in quantity this next batch will be gone in 2 months or less. I just hope I get "my" cases.
Regards,
Jeff |

Jeff,
Find your happy place. Get your local to order you some claybusters. Got mine to extend to carrying both 16ga versions. Short or long term it will fill the gap!
Variety is your friend.
If not, you can always let me know and when I'm up at the mall of America next month I'll trade you out my 1,000 dr16. |

I have some of the "new" 7/8 oz Claybusters. They are not a decent 7/8 oz wad in the straight wall hulls. Too much room. I will take you up on your offer. I have 2,000 SG16s sitting around. Or cash.
My local guy has 15,000 DR16s on order for me and gloftness.
Regards,
Jeff |

Jeff,
Be glad to bring'em. I typically use my RGL's more for 7/8 oz rounds so the claybusters work perfect for me.
I use my Federals for 1 1/8 oz and my Cheddites for just about everything.
I go by Recobs about once every 4 months so I am not hurting either way (parents live up in central Wisconsin).
I will give you a yell about a week before we head your way. It might be the weekend of the get together if I can manage it, although there is no way she (wife) will let me bring a gun on this trip. |
