Anyone have a copy of this book that's gathering dust? I have a need for one of these. Would prefer hard cover, but would consider soft cover to. Condition not of particular importance.
PM with price if you have one to part with.
Thanks!!! Of course, it's to look at the 16ga Model 21's

I don't have one but there are several listed on Amazon ranging from $80 to $250. |

Thanks for the lead. Amazon and other sites have both hardbound and softbound available.
Took my new 16ga to the preserve over in Wisconsin today. We all did well on a terrific day. The dogs liked the fact that it was sunny and high of 40F. Guess I will need to wear another hat if I'm gonna shoot something other than a Beretta....

Nice pic. Glad I was at work having an awful day instead of shooting birds over a classy pointing dog. That M21 sure suits you, Greg.
Regards,
Jeff |

I'm sure you're violating some law by carrying a Winchester while wearing Beretta attire. |

Where is the preserve? if it's not too far from Lacrosse I may have to knuckle-under and make-nice with my cousin's wife so I can visit the family again- and swing by for a trip to the preserve. Things were so much simpler before he got married. |

Just what you need, Greg, another SxS obsession. Can't wait see it at the SW16 shoot! |

On the original topic here, a member has offered to sell me a Model 21 book so I'm set with that.
A-M- We shoot at Whispering Emerald Ridge Game Farm in Menomonie, WI and also at Game Unlimited in Hudson, WI. Both places generally have nice cover, big fields and also good sporting clays.
Dave E- my gun budget is shot for 2015. Never thought I would have one 16ga for every day of the week. It is absurd and irrational, but great fun. Will also see you at Medford WI sxs shoot in June |

I live in constant battle with irrational vs practical. Irrational is ahead.
I hear we are squadded together at the Great Northern! Fun! Just got my 30" Miroku 350A back from getting the triggers and chokes tuned. That will be my battle-axe. |

I don't know, Dave. Having a purpose built SxS for targets seems a little like cheating. I guess as long as it doesn't have an adjustable comb, extended choke tubes or porting you'll be okay

Jeff |

I don't think anyone will feel threatened by my Montgomery Wards/Miroku. The only thing remotely target-gun-like might be those grand 30" barrels. Last year I shot a 26" SKB 200E up there and the one year I shot it when it was in the UP I shot a Ruger Gold Label. That year a squad of the "tweed & knicker" boys was right behind ours and a couple of them in a couple different ways made SURE I understood that my Ruger was a POS.
Talk about thread drift! |
