I was looking at a Texan M IV loader and was wondering how it compares to a Mec Grabber.
Any opinions out there?

I have 15 Texan "M" Loaders and love them (12, 16, 20, 28, 410)

BUT they do NOT resize hulls, and you will find it difficult
to find bushings and other parts.

The MIV has a plastic wad guide and you will have trouble finding replacement
when you break off a finger.

The Grabber is the way to go for a modern loader.

I love my Texans but I have many and can make parts and I am an old
fart who grew up on these things.

Well actually more than that, but 15 are in working order.
Three or four more would need a rebuild, but are good for parts
