Going to go to split fiber wads inside the CB 100-16 plastic wad to cut space and allow 7/8 oz loads. What size do I want to buy, will 20 G do or do I need to go to 28’s 28 seems to me, with none in hand to look at, have too much space around the fiber wad when inside the plastic wad
I know DR 16’s are the answer but don’t have and can’t get any.
Thanks

I usually go with the 10 ounce size
They are biodegradable and if I get hungry while loading
they work well for that also

Never used them, do they crush when you crimp ?. Fibers spit to right stack height have a nice cushion and give a tight crimp
Cherrios are easy to get though and no shipping charges
Will try some

I prefer to punch circles from the Cheerios box, but since we don't buy many Cheerios I use other brands, but the cardboard seems to be about the same. |

24 gauge are the proper size, but I would use 24 gauge nitro cards rather than fiber wads......nitro cards are the perfect thickness for reducing a 12 or 16 gauge load by 1 oz.......when you run out of those 1 oz. Claybuster wads, buy some of the Claybuster 16 gauge wads for 7/8 oz. loads if you are using RGL hulls. |

Concur with Dogchaser either 24 or 28 gauge nitro cards, i also sometimes have used 28 gauge felt wads |

Does using Cheerios reduce the cholesterol of our game?

Dog chaser
Do you know the number of that Claybuster 7/8 ? Can't seem to find it listed. Meanwhile have a fiber wad order to place soon will add some 28's and a bag of nitro cards.
All my hulls are Cheddites or once fired herters which are probably Cheddites. Like to have a bunch of RGL hulls.
Thanks
