Have Kessler drilling made in 1910. Been in family since 1959 or 1960. Originally had 4X Voightlander scope, now has Leupold 1and 1/2 to 5X. Still have 4X. Without scope gun weighs 5# 15oz. Marketed by Glaser of Zurich. Their name is on rib. 2 and 9/16" chambers, F/M. Older restoration (10 yrs). Used gun primarily as deer rifle. Taught me to love single shots. Used it mostly in my bowstands. Once I started hunting rangier land had to leave it behind. (Drops 15" @ 200yds, dead on @ 100)......as shotgun it has excellent balance and points itself. (2 and 7/8"drop). Must have been originally ordered by birdhunter. Glaser is still in business but apparently has no records back to 1910. Monte Carlo stock, Greener crossbolt, double underlug...A sweetheart........$3750....Partial trades considered...608/604-6040 |
