You can adjust the SuperSizer.
Loosen the nut under the base.
Screw the collet down till there is a slight bit
of pressure when the handle is down all the way
WITHOUT a hull in the station.
Tighten the under nut.
This is as small as you can go and normally fixes all issues.

You'll know if you have it too tight if it kinks or cracks the brass. M37's are picky about reloads. If you have a mic or dial calipers, check the size on a factory shell that feeds and set your sizer the same. |

Which according to Lymans 4th, page 368...max is 0.7440" -0.0090". Have my SS'er and Sizemaster both set to produce shells at 0.740" works great.
Or measure a factory loaded shell that cycled in the gun before firing and set accordingly. No caliper's...use a crescent wrench as a reference/go-no-go tool.
best of luck... |

The primary adjustment for collet closure on the SuperSizer is the little bolt that stops the downward travel of the handle. There is plenty of adjustment available there. If the collet of your SuperSizer was set right (at the factory or at the time the user changed the collet) it is unlikely it will need to have it's collet height adjusted. |

Do they hang up in the mag tube or is there a problem with them chambering . I had a batch of Cf hulls that the rim diameter was a little large and I could not get 2 of my pre 1900 double guns to close on them . The hull was resized right but the rim was too big for them to drop into the chamber fully . |

As others have already posted, the MEC Supersizers and collet sizers on Grabber/9000 Models) are adjustable. The first model collets are adjusted by loosening the nut on the bottom of the collet, then screwing the collet up or down inside the tapered housing. Screwing the collet down squeezes the hull bases more. The latest models are adjusted by turning the hex sleeve the outside the collet as needed. Screwing the sleeve up squeezes the hull base more.
Both versions of the MEC collet resizers can be adjusted to the point of over-resizing brass hulls and damaging them. A vernier micrometer is needed to accurately set the collets to properly resize hull bases to OEM specs.
Be advised, All presently made 16 ga hulls including all new 16 ga. Winchester hulls have steel rims which are springier and tougher to resize than brass rims. Collet sizers set to adequately resize steel rims can and will damage the brass rims found on the long discontinued and very scarce 16 ga. WW compression formed hulls. |
