Picked up my new 16ga. 525 today. I weighed it on a digital scale at 6.8 lbs just about what I figured it at. The fit and finish is real nice the wood I would say is decent not outstanding although I am not much of a wood expert. The forearm is real nice the stock has 3 small-med. knots in it one of which is right on top of the comb. No biggy......hey it's a feld gun. I'll try to get some pics on later in the week.

Remember to put the dings and nicks on top of the knots it will add character I personally think Browning has been cutting back on their selection of wood quality and I am a Browning man Even a field gun at these prices should have decent wood |

Mine went bird hunting yesterday at a preserve. Two young pups and a new gun. We had a lot fun. |
