I was sending Tom some 10ga loads to be tested so I decided to include these loads also .
Why ?

There was an earlier post about using International for 1oz . I knew it would work but , there isn't much tested data for it . The only other data I have ever seen was for 1200 fps and that's generally faster than I like for clays and most hunting .

With the 800x load I was looking for a low pressure 2 9/16 " 1oz load ( below 7000 psi and between 1100- 1200 fps ) for hunting with my Damascus barreled guns. Not sure if it had to do with the efficiency of the short hull but I reduced this load down from a 2 3/4 " 23gr load and figured I would get there , wrong. It didn't lose much velocity or much pressure . I am still working on this load . Good news is it's very consistent and should make a good hunting load with Niceshot or lead.

The last 2 loads were just out of curiosity form something 16GG said about both powders being volumetrically equal . Although 3 shots is not real good data , it seems he may be right . There close .

Thanks for sharing, always nice to see some new useful 16ga data. That 800x load looks pretty nice on paper. I cant see the powder amount clearly; is it 20gr?

Fellow 10ga fan here; whatcha shootin for with the 10ga loads? Care to share that data?

putz463 , Yes 20gr on the 800X

The 10ga loads are 2 7/8' Lead and Bismuth , they are not low pressure . If you want them let me know and I will send them to you .

Thought that looked like 20gr, thanks for confirming. Certainly I'd like more 10ga recipes in my collection, I'll send PM, thanks!
