I never have any luck using the search function. I am trying to find the one on making 2 1/2 shells from standard shells. I believe one of our forum members makets it--and does it work well for you. I am tired of switching the mec around and may just go primarily to short shells.
Thanks

There is no problem here

Buy these when available

Or PM byrdog and get one of his hull trimmers

I've cut down hundreds of hulls with this.

A piece of dowel rod with a hole drilled through it and an exacto knife blade driven through the hole. With a large headed metal screw in the end you can adjust just how much you want to cut off the hull.

I made a slide for my table saw. I cut 11 hulls at a time using a plywood blade. Not hard to make. I would post pics if I had any luck with that. I am a real dinosaur when it comes to computers. If someone would like to post them I can take some pics and forward them to you.

Regards, Gordon

I've done about 5 clay target boxes of cases with Byrdog's cutter- no worries , no problems ... 28 ga cutter has done piles of 28's , 16's and even some 10's .

The one used with the drill motor ( like the byrdog sells ) is way faster . I have done literally thousands with one I made my self .

Or like the others suggest you can buy them

I use a table saw slide table too. Mine has holes for Four gauges if running 16s two to a pass. Will see if I can post a photo.
