Has this powder be one available anywhere? Wasn't it something like 2 years ago when the factory was destroyed. I've been patient but I'd really like some more powder.

Long story short.
ADI in Australia no longer makes it.
There is a firm in Canada making it. It will become available. Just Santa seems to be on a Shetland! |

I purchased an 8 lber this spring. Says made in Australia, packaged in usa. Don't know about the Canada packaging. |

I picked up an 8lb jug of Universal and an 8lb of International last month in Ohio. Made in Canada/packaged in USA so it's current production. The same shop had more Universal yesterday, from a new shipment. It's starting to come in. |

In the past, I've found that different production lots of some of the various Hodgdon powders and several other brands as well have varied significantly when production was moved from one plant to another. I'd be cautious about using older data for loading with the new production lots until we get the facts. I'd greatly appreciate hearing about any practical differences found between the Aussie and the new Canadian powders once others start actually using them. I hope those interested will post about their actual findings w/o speculating before doing so. This might save us all some grief. Thanks. |
