I finally got around to chronograph a 7/8 load I have been shooting skeet with.
The load is 16 herters cheedite hull
Fioochi primer
20.9 grains of universal powder
DR wad ( yea got them restocked)
7/8 oz of 8 shot
Average of 5 shots 1140 fps. |

Any idea what the pressure might be. I have several hundred once fired herters/cheddite hulls and would like to find a good low pressure load using the DR16 and 7/8 oz.
I may cut them down to 2 1/2--dont like having to use filler to take up space using the SG16 wad in them. |

I do not know what the pressure of this load is.
With the slower fps I would think it would be on the lower side.
Maybe someone else on this site would know? |
