So....a couple hundred of my WinCF hulls are on their last leg for roll crimps. So I decided to fit the same recipe I use for fold crimps. The tops of the hulls are pretty ratty from previouse roll crimps, so I cut the hulls down even further, used my 14grn. 700x, WinAA wad, 7/8 oz. (1oz. minus 1/8th for spred'r) , spred'r disc, and roll crimp. It fits surprisingly well together.
Now....the final hull length is 2 1/4" and my zoli is 2 3/4" chambered. 'I' do not see a problem using these loads....but I need some reasurance from the more experienced guys.
I'm a bit of a WinCf hull whore, and just can't bare to toss them out!

I love and am learning all the time. They are also expected to come out better than this. |
