Cold Iron, it was good to get reconnected with you.
PS-My Beretta forend appears to be OK. I just had to snug those two screws down. |

Thanks everyone for coming. I really enjoyed meeting many of you in person for the first time. I'm sorry I couldn't chat with all of you even more. I feel very fortunate to be part of this very special group. South St Paul Gun Club and especially the manager, Don Deeb, go out of their way to help put this together. I'd also like to thank Greg Loftness as he also puts a lot of work into this event. He got some awesome pictures that we'll post.
Next year May 13-14 is the MN fishing opener and Mother's Day while the 27-29th is Memorial Day. In 2017 I lay claim to Saturday, May 20th for the 4th Annual Sweet 16 Shoot!
Regards,
Jeff
P.S. Next year I want to see more Hawaiian shirts. |

I have never seen that many 16's at a single event in the 60 years I have been going to gun shows and shoots! I had a great time and had to forget my doctors advice at lunch time! Back home here in central Illinois cleaning the multiple guns before they are put away until the Duluth SxS. Oh I just remember the Great Northern comes up next! |

Jeff and crew, thanks for a great time. We know how much work it is to put on an event like that. It was a super event enjoyed by all. Food was terrific and shooting was challenging. Weather? WOW. Thanks again, George |

We just made it back home to SE Kansas after a long day on the road. We had a great time at the shoot and are already making plans for next year. |

Same here Dave, was way too long and looking forward to shooting with you and Jason again soon. Glad to hear the Beretta is OK that was a wise move to be safe instead of sorry IMO! And you shoot it extremely well.
Pretty sure I'll pre order an A5 Sweet 16 this week now... |

What an incredible weekend I'll not likely forget for a long time. +1 on the Thanks to Jeff, Greg, Don and all for a wonderful day Saturday. What fun, what fun!
Finished the weekend Sunday by taking a roadtrip with my daughter to pick up our French Britt pup. He's a pistol! Thanks again |

Looking back at the fun we all had at this year's shoot I would like to suggest that maybe we have a T-shirt for the event next year. They have T shirts for a lot of the big shoots so why not one for our event?
I know it is a long time until next May but we could get the idea rolling and have time to work out the details. |

So you want us all to look gay next year, not just the 11-48 shooters? |

I suppose we better not let Jeff have the only input on the shirt design or he'll have shooters out there in hula skirts as well! |

No Byron,
Only you will be required to wear a hula skirt, with matching coconuts on top.
I have been toying with a t-shirt, but do we want to wear a shirt that says Sweet 16 on it? I was thinking maybe just The 16 Gauge Shoot.
Or, It's a 16 Gauge Thing - You Wouldn't Understand.
Any other thoughts?
