tested my first 2 1/2 inchers to today in my 1929 A5, cycled the action just fine, ejected the hulls in the same spot as factory loads. I trimmed used up RGL hulls, thanks byrdog, the trimmer works great. Used 19 gr of universal, cb100-16 wad, and 7/8 oz #8 shot. thanks to every one that gave me advice on this project. Next is to work up a load using cheddite hulls |

Congratulations!
It's always nice when a plan comes together. Keep us informed of your next load.

7/8 oz shot, 19.9 gr universal, sp16 wad, waiting on the wads to be delivered. I use two reloaders, my lee load all has the bushings for the rem hulls, and my Mec for the cheddite, then I crimp both with the short kit in the Mec. |
