I just got through shooting my first batch of Herters reloads. I used Fiocchi 616 primers, 20 grains of Hodgdon Universal, Claybuster CB0078-16 wads, and 1 ounce of reclaim #8 shot. They kicked out of my Auto 5 just fine, and the barrel was so clean when I got done, it was hard to see that the gun had been shot. Shells performed well at 5 Stand, and the hulls look good to go again after the first reload. No visible wear on the crimp. I'll keep reloading them, and let you know when they start to wear out. |
