My Crimp starter kits are now available. They are for new primed hulls from 12 to 20 ga. There are set ups for Mec and PW loaders in both 6 and 8 point styles. the Mec version is $15.00 including 2 heads and mounting hardware. The PW version is $ 22.50 and includes adjustable mounting post, both heads and quick change mounting hardware.
All prices are plus shipping. These tools will work just fine on fired hulls as well
Best to E-Mail me swansisland@tds.net |

I tested Cliff's design in my PW 375s and they are GREAT. They have features not available in the PW original that I really appreciate: An adjustment screw in the top of the die that sets how far into the press recess that the die goes and a knob on the set screw that holds the die into the press (orig PW is a hex-head). they are well worth the $$. If the pics work, they show the top screw and the knob set screw.
I'll work on the pics |

Pics:
first is cliffs; second is factory; third is "top" view of both, white die on left is cliff's, right is factory. The flathead screw on cliff's goes in-out and abuts against the inside of the recess for that die in the press to set the height. To adjust with the factory die you need to press the die into the recess to the desired height then tighten the hexscrew to hold it in place. Notice the several screw marks on the factory die, as different hulls need different height and the set screw is the only thing holding the die in position. |

As noted, Mike posted pics of the starters for a MEC. I'm not sure that I can photograph to his quality, but I'll see if I can post some tomorrow that are for a PW. |

I tried different backgrounds but didn't find one where I could get a good exposure on the black die. They all just came out black blobs without definition. |
