Don't have one, so can't comment on the gun personally. However, I do remember looking at these on their site. A quick look back at the site revealed the following.

Only the Field Hunter II is available in 16ga. 26" barrels & 7+ lbs. Shocked You would have to call and ask about the chokes. Two different pages both say fixed. But, one page says M & F, and another says IC & M.

From their FAQ page.

Side by Sides:
Daly Field Grade guns are manufactured by Zabala Hermanos of Spain.
Daly Superior and Empire grades are manufactured by Sabatti of Italy.
Model 306 is manufactured by CFS of Turkey.

a local gunsmith told me about problems with the daly's doubling. they look nice and don't feel more than 7lbs. if they are, they are fairly well balanced (personal feeling). they have fixed chokes, i.c. and mod in 26" and mod, full in 28"
based on the smitty's less than warm acknowledgement of them,i passed.

I have a Field Hunter II (Zabalas Hermanos) in 20 ga. 28" with multichokes. It was my first double, so I wanted something relatively inexpensive as an entry level gun. As I primarily shoot clays, recoil was a concern, and so the extra weight was a good fit. I've been happy with it. It is big for a 20, but as an earlier post said, it balances well. I would have preferred a double trigger - the single trigger is sloppy. I've not had a doubling problem, at least not yet, with something shy of 1000 shells through the gun.

One regret is not getting extra choke tubes when I ordered the gun. I've not found an aftermarket tube that fits this model, and my local shop has found ordering from Charles Daly to be spotty since getting the gun in the first place.
