Why not go straight to the source and contact Kent? Cabela's is only the retailer. If they are 1200fps loads, Kent may not be aware of the misprint on the box. Otherwise, they need to correct their website.

Go for it!

Dave, not sure if that was meant as a smart ass reply to my friendly suggestion? Just thought I'd offer the idea. Seemed a simpler solution to go to the manufacturer rather than waiting around for a reply from a retailer. I have no skin in the game as I stashed away 1000 rounds of 16ga Bismuth Cartridge CO and Kent TM loads before they went off the market.
Cheers,
Marc |

Marc, i meant what I said in the sense that you can email just as easily as I can. I'm fine in letting Cabela's work this out. Sorry you took it as a smart ass reply. |

Compliments of Erickson's Cut-Rate Ballistic Service.
The muzzle was 5' from the first screen, so I'm sure it's all of 1300 fps.

Thanks, Mike! Not a problem as I have time off now. Are you free next Monday evening? I have a cool sporting clays range on this side of the river to show you. |

Mr. Lowrey
Thanks so much for contacting Kent, we invite customers to always ask questions via email and phone.
We are happy to be providing Bismuth as well in 16g., especially since the Tungsten Matrix model is no longer in production. We didn’t like giving up something that provided for the sweet 16 users, but hopefully this alternative is going to work well for customers.
The Bismuth is more economical, but we understand the confusion that has occurred for some people.
Our product guide and specs had to be printed before the full completion of the loads was finalized. The 16 gauge is 1,300 fps and that is how it was loaded. The boxes are correct but the catalog was not, as it had to be printed early.
We knew this created some confusion with different fps in place, but the velocity was determined final to have best consistent performance at 1300.
Thank you for the information you provided and for letting us know too – greatly appreciated!

Just been corresponding with a delightful lady at Kent here in Canada - they have a small supply of 16ga that they can assist us Canucks in procuring. Works out to $200 (CAD) / case plus shipping. I'm not yet certain yet if that's 100 cartridges or 250. If it is the latter, then that's pretty good value.
