| being one of those guys who mostly profess lite loads for mostly everything (the super mag aside) , I still stand behind the old 23/4 - 1 1/8 load as my IT !!! I still have a box or 2 laying around from my yute , and they always go with me out west . Rem shurshots with the translucent cases . (they always stay in the car though to try out lighter stuff ) As my road thru the 16ga has moved along , I REALLY don't like shooting factory 1 ozers ! Those old loads always seem sooo nice ! The birds used to drop sooo dead !! Never liked any of the professed std Pheas loads ... brain damage !!?? ...now it's 5/8 or 3/4 |
