Anyone have any other loads for this combo? I have a giant box full of DR16 wads, and 500 new primed and once fired Fiocchi hulls. The spreadsheet only has 3 loads all with INT Clays powder, nothing in the 16ga BPI book either. I have Green Dot, 700x and 20/28 powder. I have plenty of black Rem hulls and Cheddite hulls, so if nothing usable for these Fiocchi hulls then I'm happy to pass them on to someone who has better use for them. Any help or info is appreciated. Thanks. Jim

Great info, thanks for that. That's all about what I was guessing, but in this game guessing is bad. Plus I wasn't sure if the Fiocchi hull worked well with the DR16, hence so little load data on it. Either way, thanks for the info, I'll hang on to these hulls and make more shells! Thanks. Jim

I view these hulls the same as Mike - interchangeable. I do believe there is a difference between a WAG and making an informed decision based on published information. It's not like we're designing seals for the space shuttle rockets.

One more comment here. The DR16 (and Claybuster) wad may be a slightly loose fit in Cheddite type polyformed hulls, but it's not the problem some folks seem to think it is. If we avoid using ball powders and flake powder charges too much on the light side, then a firm, well formed crimp solves all problems including powder migration and squib loads.
