So a friend tipped me off on an estate sale where the deceased was a hoarder and had a lot of ammunition and components. I bought 83 bags of shot mostly 7.5's I sold some to friends and other shooters and kept 25 for myself. Should last me quite awhile. Anyway at a shoot yesterday another shooter had a Mec 9000 20 press in pretty much new condition. $300. 00 traded 12 bags of shot for it and I shot well to boot!

That's a lot of lead. Hope you got a bulk discount! I saw that MEC at a store yesterday for $589 so you basically got it for 1/2 price. Good for you.

Well when i went to pick up the shot I saw the bags had been retied so i called a buddy of mine suspecting it had been reclaimed shot. i opened a bag(most of which is still is in the bed of my truck after transport) It was shiny mot dirty or deformed. So i got it. I was nervous about getting stuck with it but when the guys saw it they went crazy over it because of the price. It was very high quality bright shiny stuff. One guy thought it had been home rolled with a Lttleton shot maker. Anyway there were a bunch of unopened Eagle shot bags too. i didnt win the lottery on the ticket i bought after getting the 9000 though!
