Any idea how many were made? I've read 25 of each finish. |

To my knowledge , they started in '87 and '88 . then again in the mid '90's and again at the turn of the Century . The early guns have long tangs which collectors seek (more work to finish) . Each time the produced around 50 in 26'' and 50 in 28'', both in blue and Grey . All were POW .
Now there are four Grade 6's out there with English straight grip , two with 26'' and two with 28'' . These are considered the ''Holt Grail'' of Browning 16 gauge shotguns . I know where two are .
Around 2007 Browning started a few runs of the Grade 4's and 7's to replace the Grade 6's . They cheapened them a bit .
They will never be able to duplicate the Grade 6's at the current price point . |

Where does one find this information? Is it verified from Browning? |

When I checked years ago , this is what I was told by Browning . I have no reason to dispute it . YMMV . |

English Straight grips are extremely rare . I have followed these and have only seen a few For Sale through the years . I do not have the numbers as to how many were made . |
