skeetx, I'm a longtime member over there, but i recently took it off my bookmark list. It's been way too dysfunctional for too long. |

Looks like a cat fight on a dog's forum. Sad state of affairs |

How so? I've been designated the Chief Bloviator in Charge, and I've not been involved even once on this thread (until now).
Even so, best be careful where you step. The Chief Boviator in Charge has been all over the pasture in this one. |

Earlier this year I tried spending some time on the doublegunforum there is interesting and useful information over there but it is hidden amongst piles of hot steaming hate and venom. I know there are many on here that are members over there too. I don't know how you guys read through all that. Whenever I read something over there I seem to end up in a bad mood for no reason. I appreciate the usually civil world over here on 16ga a lot. |

The double gun forum is a sh!thole because the it allows politics and the inherent vitriol to seep in.
A good example as to why this forum's rules have resulted in a much more welcoming and friendly place. |

I rarely post there for that reason alone. |

When you get right down to it there are a handful of posters who cause the trouble. The ignore function is a wonderful thing. |
