| hi there, my first post, from across the water in the u.k. hope your well ! looking for some advise on loading some 16 guage for a pre war browning A5. got some blue and green dot available and am thinking of loading with a traditional fibre wad and roll turn over. ? any help advise greatly appreciated , thanks, Dogs |

Hello dogs, welcome.
Blue & Green dot are my two favored powders for the 16. Blue dot works well for heavier loads and green dot is great for light loads- particularly for those 100 shot sporting clays courses. |

RGL,14.5 grns Green Dot and Federal 15.5 grns Green Dot are my 7/8 oz loads. Have gone to all Rio primers. Clay Buster wads for Remington, DR16 for Federal. This is NOT a recommendation, just what I use. Very low recoil.  |

| For an A5 , you should probably just stick to 1 oz or more for the recoil ... Did you have to make any major changes to your gun ?? Prev poster had to mod the mag tube of a M12 Win to make it a permanent 2 shot gun . Did you ?? |
