What is the difference between these two crimping techniques regarding pressure and velocity. Can roll crimp data be used to fold crimp safely? |

I believe that roll crimping gives SLIGHTLY lower pressure.
There is an alternative that allows you to load 2 1/2" hulls in a press set fot 2 3/4". Search "Hartin crimp" for details. |

Thanks Carlos, I have heard of the Hardin crimp. I do a "lift" with 3-4 pennies under each crimping position to get 2-1/2" loads on a 2-3/4" press setup. I also load 2-5/8" modern Fiocchi hulls in a similar manner. |
