I have heard a strong rumour that Browning are considering the production of a Royale model in 16ga, which is to be priced at an estimated £5000. Perhaps this is to be similar to the new B15, which, I think, is a tarted up 525 with high quality hand engraving and decent wood.
Please post any available info.
It has always been a matter of regret to me that Browning has never thought it worthwhile to make a 16ga of Miroku origin easily available here in the U.K. where interest in 16ga guns is slowly growing. |

That would be a VERY low production run---hope they do it.In U.S. dollars what would that convert to? |

They have made a couple of Superposed in 16 recently, but mucho dinero . One was a two barrel set, circa $50K US. Not sure if they sold, or headed back to Belgium. Now can't seem to pull them up on browning US website |

$7500
While there is a lot of hoopla over the Belgian B25s, of which I have owned and shot seven, I believe the Citori is a more durable gun. I'm not enamored of any thick receiver underbolting o/u, but in 16 gauge they are really special. I have a 28" barreled Superlight that is a dream. Thinking seriously about a top drawer custom stock job on it. |

My 16ga Citori handles better than any of the several B25 B2g's I have shot. I, also, would like some better wood on mine. |
