I will add a classic sxs with mod and full choke, have a nitro special, but the chokes have been reamed out. also if another marlin m90 shows up with 26 in barrels I will bring it home. |

I just got confirmation from Gunbroker that I won the Acier Cockerill 16ga sxs for a sensible price. What I have read about the gun and looking at the photos makes me anxious to get it and try it out to see if I keep it for myself or give it to my friend that I was shopping for a late Christmas gift. |

If the Davis comes back in good shape , shouldn't need any ....However .... sometimes they just find you and they/I can't help ourselves . 2016 , a std M31 that someone had deerslayered came knocking at 150 bucks and I couldn't say no !! Took about 15mins to undeerslayer it and a great bird gun . |

I did not plan on buying the Merkel 147E but couldn't help myself this past June.
I might buy a new Sw16, but need to handle one in 26" first. |

I'd be happy if my Fox AE comes home with its new stock. It's been gone far too long and my patience is running out hearing the standard "still working on it" response. |

No 2016 purchase for me. Since a new pup is most likely in the works, I'm thinking most funds will be headed to new dog stuff. But you never know what might show up and I'll admit my resistance level can be low for the right gun! |

I am wanting to find an older double. Sterlingworth to compliment my 20 gauge would be nice... So would an lc smith or the like. |

PatrickB, I feel your pain.
My project is finally getting some traction. My smith has had my Fox 16 gauge Sterlingworth upgrade project since the summer of 2013. He's finally getting started.
The only progress photo I have so far is below. He cut the rebates in the receiver and is starting the metal sculpting. I bought a second barrel that was new old Fox stock in the white and I'm told he has fitted it to the receiver and added the ejectors. Once the metal it done he has to whittle me a new stock from the blank I sent him.
Once that is done then it will be off to the engravers. I'm thinking it might get done in 2018.
