stuff just comes my way - the only wads I buy are DR's and 28's ... am currently loading my 12's with donated Pacific wads with donated .2 20 ga fillers . My trap club usually has a barrel of Gun clubs that are factory fired . I can't seem to escape these things , but so far , wifey hasn't squacked about clutter . Course , she isn't allowed in the gun room !! What a DISASTER that would be if she used her filing to straighten that place out !! |

And here I was planning to sympathize with his unhealthy Hawaiian shirt issues. |

Jealousy over my sense of style is so unbecoming. I have also been shooting some Herters lately, but that is just until I have a 1oz target load dialed in. Nice to build up my supply of empty hulls as well. I do really like shooting my own 7/8 and 3/4 oz loads, and they perform extremely well. In my little Merkel I just shoot 3/4 oz at targets.

I think every bodies undies are just fine. It's 4 degrees outside with a -12 wind chill. The roads are icy and the highs for the next four days are in the single digits. Not going to play outside so focusing on reloading seems like a good idea. Beats discussing politics or religion!

Wadded. Wads. It's a joke. Get it?? See laughy face. --->
Okay, so it wasn't such a good joke. It's winter in New England too. My butt is frozen, and so's my brain. I try to do better come the spring thaw. |

Yup. We got a foot of snow on Saturday in the PM. At least it was all powder and easy to clear. We'll get the mega slushie type come February. It was around 2 degrees F when I woke up this AM. It's up to about 15 right now. Gonna hit 50 -58 come Wednesday so they say. We'll see. It's New England. Mom used to say only damn fools and New York City folks try to predict the weather around here.
I forgot to stick my big toe in the light socket to snap my tired ole' brain into gear before posting my little joke. Oh well. Back to my usual winter semi- comatose state. Feel free to wake me when spring gets here. (We need a snoozy emoticon). |
