As a new member to this Wonderful and Great forum I feel the need to say "Thank You" to all of you that contribute. I have been reading some of the older threads because of the topic s. I find myself almost in awe. Individuals like myself that have many questions about many subjects, not that we are unfamiliar with them, just not really knowledgeable. In asking a question on this sight, especially about 16 ga., stock fit, LC. safeties. I find myself in the midst of some of the most INTELLECTUAL and KNOWLEDGEABLE people I have ever had the privilage to know.

All I can say is Thank you to all.

W.M. - I've agreed with yor sentiments for the 7 or 8 yrs I've been here . Have gained ssooo much for the little I've been able to contribute !! More knowledge here for such a great topic . And , what a bunch of guns show up . The guys here really pull together . Loads , guns , dogs, accessories . On and on . Have made some great friends that have lead to trips out west for the 1st time etc ... Do you know anyone from another gauge group that has spent thousands of dollars to create/fill a wad niche basically on a bet !!?? It IS a great group of guys !!

This site is the modern day "Donna Reed Show" or "Father Knows Best" with a touch of "The Waltons" thrown in...civility and simpler times. But no one accuses me of "intellectualism" and gets away with it (where's my dictionary?).

Thank you for your kind words to the group. While I can make no claim to being "INTELLECTUAL and KNOWLEDGEABLE" as you put it, there are many here who fit that description and have kindly shared their knowledge with me.

Yes, I agree that this is just about the best forum around and I'm also happy to be here. Thanks again for taking the time to express your feelings and I hope you stay around!

I have to agree that this is the most informative and friendliest site on the internet! It is the site I go to first each morning when I turn on my computer! Of course it has cost me some money since i have bought two more 16's since I joined the group last January. The latest being the Acier Cockerill that I bought on Gun Broker as a Christmas gift. Now only 105 days until we get together for the 16ga shoot in So. St. Paul!
