The driven hunt topic reminded me of the following.
My eldest daughter, married a Frenchman and they lived in Paris at the time that I was going to Scotland bird hunting. I flew to Paris and was picked up by my daughter and her husband.
The next day my son in law took me to the Paris gun club and introduced me to the owner. The owner hunted in Scotland the previous year and when he learned of my intentions to go to Scotland, he got on the PA and invited the shooters to come into the club house for coffee and croissants.
He then took me out and let me shoot all of the events at no charge. I considered that a very nice gesture from one hunter to another. |

Jim, nice story. The love of hunting and shooting crosses many borders. Sounds like a great experience. Gil |
