Noticed the 1oz #6 and #8 all at 69.99 a flat now, seemed they'd always been 59.99 before or was that a long running sale I hadn't been aware of?

I believe that the sale price is $59.99 a flat.

Yep. For now at least the herters loads are a buck a box increased over last time I bought. Must be Bass Pro moving in??

I'm hoping they run a sale soon. The 12 ga tagret even low recoil are only $5.49 / box which isn't bad pricing with trap season ahead this year.

All to true. I needed them so I bit the bullet and paid the 69.99 a flat. Should have brought some from home. Good news was the wife's 20's were 54.99 and $5 total shipping shipping. So nothing to complain about.

I'm glad I bought 3 cases on my last trip through Delaware.

The Christiana store is just off the highway.

Check Dicks while in Delaware same plaza. I've found them a better buy on 22 LR by quite a bit.

#8's were $69.99 at Cabelas saturday. Went ahead and bought two cases. I usually buy Federal from rogerssportinggoods.com but the Herter's is still $10 cheaper/case than I've ever gotten the Federal (which is now $85/case.)

How has the Herters performed for you that have shot it?

I like them. However, on the first reload attempt I get a surprising number with splits at the crimp line that don't reach the lip. So I'm not super sold on their longevity for reloading. But they're a cheap and reliable source, so thumbs up on that.

At cabelas in Rogers Mn, yesterday, they had one flat of one ounce #8 shot, $59.99.
There may have been more but that's all I saw.

That's my go to clays and grouse load for my 16's. I'll check there online price.

I bought a few cases last year. So far I have had no crimp splitting/cracking issues after reloading. Bear in mind that most have been loaded at most three times and my loads are relatively mild by some standards: 1200-1250 fps. As a result I tend to get decent hull life out of most hulls.
