I have no regrets. I brought home 16ga repeater with I.C. 26" VR barrel. By being patient I now own a self-loader with four shot magazine capacity and still have almost $700 in my pocket.

It is Remington 1100. The gas system splits recoil impulse parts are readily available and popularity assures good resale value. That model has good reputation even in shotgun shooting countries like Great Britain.

Is it a Rem-Choke model?

It is pre-Remchoke gun with 26" VR barrel and improved cylinder choke.

Them's the good ones. The weight is far less and the balance is far better than the Rem-Choke models (which feel like a pig on a shovel--to borrow a very good description Laughing ). I'm very glad to hear you got the right one. Best of luck w/ it.
